The short version
- Your list of places lives in your own Wire account. Someday doesn't keep a copy.
- We keep your name and email so you can sign in, and the pages you choose to share as links.
- We don't sell your data, show ads, or use your places to train AI.
- You never have to share your exact location, and we never store it.
- You can export your list, remove a shared link, or delete your account at any time.
Who we are
Someday is made by DoubleStack in New York. "We" and "Someday" on this page mean DoubleStack. Questions go to privacy@savesome.day.
Where your list lives
Someday runs on Wire. When you set it up, Wire creates a container in your own Wire account. Your places, notes, visits and events are stored there, and you own them. Wire's handling of that data is covered by Wire's privacy policy.
Someday's part is the tools your AI uses: how to save a place, find one, or log a visit. Those tools run inside your Wire container. Your list is not copied to Someday's servers.
What Someday keeps
Your account
When you sign in on savesome.day, Wire tells us:
- your name and email address;
- an id for you that only Someday uses. It is not your Wire account id.
We keep these so you can sign in, so the site can show you your own list, and so we can write to you about your account. We also keep the sign-in tokens Wire gives us, encrypted. Those tokens let the site read your saved places to show them to you. They can't change your list.
Links you share
When you ask your AI to share places, Someday stores that shared page: its title and description, and for each place the name, address, coordinates and the note you chose to include. Visits and ratings never go into a shared page.
- Anyone with the link can open it. A shared page stays out of search engines unless you choose to make it public.
- We count how often a shared page is opened, and our analytics may record general information about the people who open it, as described under "This website".
- Shared pages that nobody opens or updates are removed after a while.
- You can remove a shared page at any time by asking your AI to unshare it.
What passes through and isn't kept
- Looking up a place. When you save a place without coordinates, its name and address are sent to Geoapify to find where it is. If Geoapify is unavailable, OpenStreetMap's Nominatim is used. Nothing about you is sent with it.
- Searching near somewhere. When you ask what's near a place, that place is looked up the same way. Someday doesn't keep the search.
- Notices from Wire. Wire tells Someday when it is installed, updated or uninstalled. We log the kind of notice and its id.
Your location
You never have to share where you are. Say "near Union Square" or "in the West Village" and your AI searches from there. Some AI apps share a general area with the tools they call, such as your city. If yours does, Someday uses it only to answer that request and doesn't store it.
Our analytics and hosting work out a general area, such as your city or country, from your IP address. We never collect or store your exact location.
Your AI app
You talk to Someday through an AI app such as Claude, ChatGPT or Muse. That app sees your conversation, including the places you mention and what Someday answers. What it does with that is covered by its own privacy policy, not this one.
This website
- Analytics. We use PostHog to count page views and clicks on savesome.day and on shared pages, so we can see what works. It records general details such as your browser, device and approximate area. It isn't tied to your name unless you're signed in.
- Hosting. The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes each request, including your IP address, to deliver the page and keep it secure.
- Maps. Maps are drawn in your browser with tiles from OpenFreeMap, so your browser asks OpenFreeMap for them directly. "Open in Maps" links take you to Apple Maps or Google Maps.
- Cookies. One cookie keeps you signed in. Your light or dark mode choice is saved in your browser. There are no advertising cookies.
Who we share data with
Only the services that help run Someday, and only what each one needs: Wire (your account and your container), Cloudflare (hosting and the database of accounts and shared pages), Geoapify and OpenStreetMap (place lookups), and PostHog (analytics). We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- Export. You can export your whole list from the Someday settings. Wire emails you a download link.
- Uninstall. Uninstalling Someday takes its tools away from your AI. Your places stay in your Wire account until you delete them there.
- Delete a shared page. Ask your AI to unshare it.
- Delete your Someday account. Email privacy@savesome.day and we'll delete your name, email, tokens and shared pages within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask for a copy of your data or to have it corrected. Email us and we'll help.
Age
Someday is for adults. You need to be 18 or older to use it, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think a child has given us their data, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect.
